You can apply this same technique to edit your gold and cells if you so desire. This will make it so you simply cannot die for the rest of the current run unless you get cursed so just do not break open presents or cursed chests or purchase the Cursed Sword and you'll be invulnerable.
You can then freeze this value by clicking the box so that it has an X in it.
Do this by double clicking on the "Value" in the lower table and changing it from the current value to eg 3000. You can now set your HP to anything you'd like I find that 3000 will make you immune to basically everything. Once Cheat Engine has only one row entry listed in the search results table, double click it to save that address. Switch back to Cheat Engine and search for the new HP value - type in the new value eg 1 and click "Next Search." If the list is down to just one entry you can skip the next search, if there is still more than one entry in the list repeat the process of going in game and changing your HP value and "Next Search"ing that value one more time. Go ahead and switch back to the game window and start up a run, when you have a health bar in game, switch back to Cheat Engine and search for the value of your HP - that is type in eg 100 and click "First Scan," (making sure the "Value Type" entry is set to the default of "4 Bytes") then switch back to the game and do something to change your current HP eg get hit once, pickup a scroll, drink a healing potion if you are not at max HP. Next, find and select "deadcells.exe" then click "Open." The top bar of the main Cheat Engine window should now read "deadcells.exe" (links have artificial spaces added, edit them out to use the links)įirst start up the game then start up Cheat Engine and click the button in the top left corner that looks like a computer labeled "Select process to open." In the new popup window switch from the "Applications" tab to the "Processes" tab.
